SCEC Energy Assistance Program

Members who qualify for WHEAP may also qualify for a one-time bill credit through SCEC's Energy Assistance Program.

What is WHEAP? Why do we offer this program? Where else can I go for help?

If your household income does not exceed 60 percent of State Median Income and you have qualified for heating assistance through your county of residence, you may also qualify for assistance with your SCEC electric bill. These funds are applied as a credit directly on qualified members' electric bills.

You must qualify through your county of residence first (see contact information below).
Once you have qualified, fill out the SCEC Energy Assistance Information Release found by clicking below:
